Glass Glass is a synthesis of ancient earth elements and is one of the most attractive materials discovered by man, and it actually surrounds us everywhere today. It is made from the humblest raw materials in the mighty fire of a melting furnace, and yet it is wonderfully translucent, bright and fragile. It has always existed in nature as volcanic glass - obsidian, which is formed during volcanic eruptions as rapidly cooled magma. As a material, glass is unique, as it does not belong to any of the basic states of matter that define the properties of materials, but is a solid substance in an amorphous state. During the heating process, the glass changes from solid to liquid, and even the slightest drop in temperature freezes the glass in the form it acquired at a certain moment.
